Why Vectorspace

To fight entropy

Most AI chatbot products leave content, configuration, and maintenance to you. Vectorspace continuously curates and maintains the knowledge behind the answers, so it stays useful as your business changes.

Our value proposition

What you pay for is not software rental. It is an ongoing managed process for your knowledge base: we inspect what users ask, evaluate the answers, resolve gaps and contradictions, and update what changed. The value is a base that stays coherent, current, and useful.

Why this has to be continuous

A knowledge base isn't a project that ends—it's a garden. Products change, policies change, FAQs go out of date, and a base left alone starts answering—confidently—things that are no longer true. That rot is silent, and it's the worst kind of error: nobody notices until a customer gets the wrong information. The work you pay for each month is exactly what prevents it. It isn't software maintenance—it's keeping your truth current. That's why we charge a subscription, not a one-time setup project: indexing your content and walking away would be handing you a garden that turns to weeds in six months.

What we are not

  • Not a self-service tool. There is no prompt-engineering UI for you to tweak. We tune the assistant's behavior based on what we observe — you don't need to touch it.
  • Not a lead-capture tool. The widget is designed to answer questions, not extract contacts. We don't build marketing flows, we don't score prospects, we don't integrate with CRMs. If that's what you want, other tools exist and they do that well.
  • Not a customer data platform. We don't build profiles of your users or correlate behavior over time. A question is a question.
  • Not a tech company selling AI. We are a knowledge-management company that uses AI as a tool. The distinction matters: technology changes, good curation endures.

Compared to self-service (Intercom Fin, ChatGPT, Zendesk AI, custom GPTs)

Those tools work well for teams prepared to operate content and AI workflows themselves. Our bet is that most companies do not want another system to run. For them, outsourcing ongoing curation and maintenance is more valuable than the flexibility of a self-service dashboard.

Compared to hiring internal content ops

Hiring one person to own your knowledge base — read tickets, write FAQs, update docs, train the AI — costs between USD 5,000 and USD 10,000 per month in North America (fully loaded), or BRL 8,000 to BRL 20,000 per month in Brazil. And that's just direct cost: add recruiting, onboarding, management and turnover risk. Vectorspace delivers the same ongoing outcome for USD 500 per month after a one-time USD 1,200 setup, through a managed process supported by specialized tooling.

Compared to doing nothing

Most companies handle repeat questions with a mix of help-center search (which usually doesn't work), human support (which is slow and expensive) and 'that information is somewhere in Notion/SharePoint/the shared drive' (which is never found). Every unanswered question is a small friction that compounds: abandoned purchases, support tickets escalating, new hires asking senior colleagues, customers leaving without asking. Vectorspace turns knowledge into a resource that answers instantly, 24/7.
